Introducing KIP (Kenyans in Perth)

Introducing KIP (Kenyans in Perth)

On Monday October 8, 2012 a new baby was born. His name is Kip.

The baby Kip idea was refined on the eve of the Kenya Diaspora Conference held on the 8th-9th September 2012 at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle, Western Australia.

The Conference sought to explore the role of the Kenyan Diaspora and to map the way forward in the development of Kenya under the theme: “Diaspora Participation in the New Kenya: Be Part of Building Your Future”.

Baby Kip hopes to do his part in the building of Kenya through information sharing, empowerment and collaboration of Kenyans in Western Australia.

The baby will work closely with the Kenyan Community of Western Australia and other community forums to unleash the creativity and potential of Kenyans in Perth. Baby Kip will be listening to Kenyans through one on one interviews and publishing those interviews on the site.

Stay tuned and please help get the word out to your friends about baby Kip!
